The portrait painter Otto Eichinger was born in Vienna in 1922 to a family of artists. Otto Eichinger adopted the realist portrait style of his father, the artist Erwin Eichinger.
Otto Eichinger attended the renowned Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. He also spent a brief period studying lithography. Eichinger’s subjects often include Rabbis, Bavarian men and Cardinals.
