River Scenes
In this section we offer a group of river scene paintings available for immediate purchase These hand painted artworks are mainly Post-Impressionist and Modern paintings although we do present some very good examples of Contemporary art as well. Here, collectors and art-enthusiasts can buy paintings on canvas or choose an original work on paper whether it is a watercolour or a gouache on paper. These original paintings depict rivers scenes as well as beach scenes, water scenes and marines. Marine is a very collectible subject within 20th century art, with some of its forerunners being masters like EugÄne Boudin who was a pioneer and inspired Claude Monet in this art genre. Painting and representing water has been a challenge to artists throughout different periods of art history. Here are some of their most accomplished works of art available for sale.
