BRAFA Art Fair, 26 January - 3 February 2019
Stern Pissarro gallery has continually surprised collectors at BRAFA with
exciting new centrepieces over the past five years. BRAFA 2019 will be no
exception, with the gallery showcasing a large work by Belgian artist
Paul Delvaux painted in 1948. The painting is fresh to the market having been in an Asian collection since the 1980s and is an excellent
example of Delvaux's famous series of female nudes set in dream-like landscapes. Other highlights will include important works by masters such
as Karel Appel, Lucio Fontana, Otto Piene, Emil Nolde, Fernand Léger, Yayoi
Kusama and Christo.
